What are you doing now you have graduated from the University of Lincoln?: I am currently working as a Product Manager at PWC, working with stakeholders in the Risk Management team!
How did your time at the University of Lincoln support your career?: My time at UOL helped me to gain the skills I needed to be a well rounded professional, but also the confidence to demonstrate and apply them.
What are the best parts of your job?: For me I would say it is the fact that I am able to manage my own portfolio, and take ownership of my products. Being the ultimate decision makers has its pressures but it also means I get to set the direction of the product and directs impact its success.
If you could give our current students any top tip for after graduation and their careers, what would it be?: Say yes to opportunities that scare you a little. There isn’t much you cant undo and cant change if you don’t like it, and you’ll learn a lot about yourself by trying new things.
What inspired you to study at the University of Lincoln (or one of its predecessor institutions)?: The setting. More importantly to me than anything, it felt like a community that made me feel welcome.
What was your favourite thing about being a student at the University of Lincoln (or one of its predecessor institutions)?: You kind of always felt at home no matter where in Lincoln you were or what you were doing,
What would you say to a prospective student thinking of applying to the University of Lincoln?: Every University has a very different feel. Definitely explore lots of options. If you want somewhere where you’ll make lots of friends and meet new people and teachers that want to support you on a personal level, Lincoln is the place for you.
