Sport Development and Coaching graduate, Tom, works as a Football and Education Programme Coach at Northampton Town FC. He is also the U13s Academy Lead Coach for the same football club. During Tom’s time at the University of Lincoln he volunteered at a variety of different sports clubs including Lincoln City and undertook a 12-week voluntary placement as Basketball Coach at a local school as part of his university course.
Tom continues to grow and develop his own practices to help his learners be the best they can be. Watch Tom’s video about his university and career journey here.
Tom’s advice to current students is ‘Grab the opportunity with both hands, the university and the city is extremely welcoming. The staff are incredibly supportive and will ensure you are in the best possible position upon completion of your degree.’
