Alice graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2006 with a BA (Hons) in Criminology. After she graduated, Alice spent some time working for Lincolnshire Police before working for the Prison Service at HMP Lincoln for four years.
It was at this time that Alice chose a change of career and requalified as a Midwife. She spent time developing her skills as a rotational midwife, after which she worked as a Clinical Educator. Alice now works in a Preceptorship role at ULHT, supporting newly qualified midwives. Alice works closely with the University of Lincoln developing midwifery students’ skills.
When asked if she could give our current students any top tips for after graduation and careers, she said: This isn’t it forever. People can change careers and there are so many opportunities out there!
