Ayo graduated from BA (Hons) Media Production in 2015 and is now a Storyliner on ITV's Coronation Street. Find out more about Ayo's career path after graduating in her own words.

I studied BA Media Production at the University of Lincoln, completing a semester abroad at Minnesota State University Moorhead in the United States. I currently work as a Storyliner for Coronation Street at ITV. Since joining the team at Corrie, I’ve been given opportunities to write exciting stories and work with an incredibly talented group of people.

After graduating, I worked for the BBC as a Correspondence Assistant for Blue Peter. Following that, I became the Blue Peter Studio Runner and went on to work for CBBC as the Unit Runner; a position which meant I worked across the CBBC department assisting on a number of different productions.

My degree taught me how to work well with others and to work to tight deadlines – which has been extremely beneficial in my career so far. In my role as a Storyliner, I talk through storylines in a small group as a starting point. We break down the story into episodes and scenes and then one person writes the story as it has been discussed. I love the creative nature of my job and have recently pitched a storyline that I am looking forward to seeing onscreen.
