School of Health and Social Care alumna, Sue Liburd MBE, joined our line up as alumni speaker at our September Graduations. Having worked and travelled all around the world working in healthcare, Sue returned to the University of Lincoln as a mature student. Lifelong learning is important to Sue, so much so she is currently undertaking her PhD at Lincoln. She continues to support, inspire and be a voice for current students at the University of Lincoln in her role on the Board of Trustees at the Students Union. Sue also serves as a Non-Executive Director of the Northern Lincolnshire & Goole Foundation Trust as well as acting as Deputy Lieutenant for The Office of the Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire.
Watch her inspire our graduates in her alumni address in her speech about how she has been listening and advocating for students and care services in the county.
